Hi guys
Is anyone please able to help me out with scale plans for making the lumber & ammunition for the horse drawn 10.5inch howitzer??
Also if possible any links to photos as all my stuff is armour!!
Thanking any & all for any help with this. I was going to use the esci horses from the supply wagon set & tamiya field kitchen as base.

Dear Mike,
Though it has been some days ago you posted your request, I hope that you still have not bought the outdated Esci horses. The MiniArt and ICM horses offer much higher and more quality.
Furthermore, the books 'German Light Artillery' and 'German Heavy Artillery'(resp. ISBN 0-88740-760-9 and 0-88740-759-5) from Mr. Joachim Engelmann will give you enough support to fix the job.
Enjoy!
Paul

Hi Paul,
Thank you very much for that info, are those numbers you kindly supplied phone numbers or links?? As when I clicked on them my phone tried to call them. As for the horses I already have the old esci ones in my stash but will have a look at the new mini art ones now.
Cheers Mike

ISBN 0-88740-760-9 and 0-88740-759-5
ISBN is International Standard Book Number. This is a unique number assigned to each book printed and sold. They should be able to call them up at any library or bookseller by the numbers for you.
By placing the first number in Amazon's search box, you get the following:

Hi Gino,
Thanks for that, you can tell that I've never brought anything of Amazon before
Hi Jerry,
Yes along those lines but my understanding is that their was what I will call the lumber that you have so very lovely made & then also an ammo cassion hitched to the back of that which more of the crew sat on & then the gun.
Cheers Mike

It would be either or. Either the limber that I made would be towing the gun or the limber would be towing the caisson, not both. This is for horsedrawn arty. I have seen pics of half tracks or raupenschleppers towing both but not horses as it would be way too heavy.

Hi Jerry,
Thanks for that as I must be confused with a smaller calibre arty piece & had seen a picture with a six horse unit that I thought was towing both.
I have minimal ref on horse drawn stuff so me getting it wrong would be highly likely, once again thank you for your help
Ta Mike
