Maybe this site is old news to some but I was really impressed with the breadth of imagery and the fact that it is easy to find images of what you want. I found several images of LAVs, M2s, etc that I have NOT seen elsewhere (and believe me I have been looking).
Armor, Individual Weapons, Aircraft, Cannons, Ships and MORE... I had this site in my favorites...evidently I never bothered to take a look at it.

Like I say- it may be old news but I was impressed!
Sorry for cross posting, I wanted to make sure that most folks saw this info...not just those who visit A/C, or Armor, etc!

Thanks for the link Jaster ! It's great . I have noticed there several shots of a OIF USMC M1A1 with something on the turret roof that closely resembles what experts call a WPGC (White Plastic Garden Chair ) : cool idea for a scratchbuilding project

Howdy jaster,
Superb link sir! And it is new to me as well. Will have to spend some time perusing thru there!
to Frenchy: Where'd you find the pic of the M1A1 Abrams with the WPGC? Word on the street is that's where our own TurretToad13 spends most of his time. I was thinking of a dio in his honour!!
#:-)
to TT: .....just kiddin' mate!

To TreadHead : you can find several pics of the WPGC-fitted Abrams on the last pages that appear if you type "M1A1" in the "search" window of the site mentionned above. Joking apart does anybody know by chance what name is written on the 120 mm gun of this tank and which unit does it belong to ? The pics are not clear enough...

Here is the picture. I think this is a Marine tank because of the smoke launchers? Is that correct?

Keenan,
this is a direct hit..
Not only because of the smoke launchers, but also because of the "dazzler" missile counter-measure device (the box-like wrapped thingy behind the doghouse...)
this is a direct hit..

I believe this is the same tank I saw on the Archer Fine Transfers site and it is called "Sinister Monster".

I could be wrong, though...anybody can feel free to correct me...and I can't see the WPGC!!

I think it's not this one. The one with the WPGC has different markings on the side : there's a black "v" as well but with a black "x" instead of the 2 little black squares. Moreover, the tank has no "scoring boards" on the front turret panels...
