Hi... new to the groups here.
Just curious about a couple things relating to Dragon figure kits. First off, I am looking for a couple of sets in particular and was wondering if they are even still available... Is there a site that marks off the kits that are still available? There is a set or two I have in mind...
6271 Advance To The Rhine: US 1st Army At Remagen (WWII)
6808 US GIs Pusan Perimeter (Korean War)
Any info on these would be greatly appreciated.
I'd also like to know if anyone has posted a tutorial or video showing figure assembly and painting techniques that is recommended. I found myself not finishing figures for a variety of reasons, and wanting to go back and start all over. In the end, this practice led to never finishing these projects. I would like a new approach that leads to a satisfactory if not higher quality finish that works. Hopefully I'll be able to compare notes with some of you that have more experience.

Matt,
Best bet for availability is the Dragon USA website under "Products".
Keep in mind even discontinued figure sets can be found on Ebay.
There's a couple of excellent Vinnie Branigan tutorials on ModelArmour.com under "Figures".
Regards,
Rich

Hi Matthew. At the top left of the Armorama site there is a menu option called "Browse Sites." By clicking this, you can migrate over to Historicus Forma. Historicus Forma hosts many feature articles on various aspects of figure modeling. The forums have a magnificent display of modelers such as yourself, in action. Turn your hunger to learn towards Historicus Forma, in addition to digging deeper here at Armorma. By regularly poring over these wide ranging offerings, and digging deeper into older posts, over time, great and unforeseen things will be learned.

A lot of Dragon stuff seems to drift in and out of production, so if you can't find it wait a few months and you should be able to. I know that the Advance set it quite popular, the Pusan Pocket set is older so I don't know about it.

I'll second tom by saying hobbyeasy has a very wide range of dragon box, eventhough they are not all displayed on the site.
Best,
