The Bronco M1114 Frag5 was about £40 GBP+postage when it first came out, but quickly showed up on ebay from far eastern sellers for about £25+postage, so I think i'll wait on this one.

That's why I was asking. Even when you order small items from them, the shipping is very high.

Did you get a quote from Gilles about your shipping? I know Blast's website gives you a quote that is normally ridiculous.
I placed two orders just recently with Blast and the shipping was only 10 Euros or so, but they where smaller items, but more inline with typical overseas air mail rates from Hong Kong etc...
Another factor to consider is the box might be huge, thus cost more to ship. I know that from Lucky or Hobby Easy, a normal sized Dragon or Tamiya kit is at least $15 bucks with the HET going for nearly double that due its size. I'm going to say the kit box is inbetween those sizes

The last time I ordered from Blast I got a refund for shipping. They charged me one rate then re-imbursed me after it had shipped out.
cheers
