My question, which I hope you can help me with is, What uniform did Archer crews wear?
They were Royal Artillery not tankers, so battledress or if they were sensible in northern Europe pixie suits?. The last option seems unlikely, were pretty mean over here.

I would go with mixed dress, ie; some wearing the leather jerkin over BD, greatcoats over BD, and even one or two in Pixie suits - if in cold weather. Otherwise regular battle dress. But trying to make the figs fit into the vehicle will be the real challenge!
