Hi everyone!
Has anybody seen this coming before?

I thought "WOW" when I saw it, though I cannot comment on accuracy.

So finally Tamiya unveiled their new T-55!
I guess this is normal they chose the Enigma as I just finished my conversion
Accuracy wise, it looks good and it seems the engine deck is a Czech one and not the original Russian one. So no need to scratchbuild the missing frame ;-)

THAT'S INCREDIBLE!
It was the time for some new versions derived from this stunning model!!
They've made a new upper hull with czech engine deck , so that's a deep refurbishment of the original mould!
Great news, grazie mille Nicola

Excellent, time for my usual rant: just as I barely finished building th Legend conversion, they announce this.

Great, now I gotta dig the old dog out and polish off the conversion on the Esci hull before this one hits the shelves.
I am looking forward to the release and the flood of tweeks that folks will find.

Hi just saw the model on hobby link japan for pre order.
Posted: Wednesday, January 18, 2012 - 03:29 AM UTC
Cool. I usually get their news letter and haven't seen this yet. Pre-ordered. T-55 subjects are A-OK with me. It'd be nice if it came in the same box with my Zvezda T-90....

You guys are all welcome!
Anyhow I can only relate to what many of you are saying: imagine how I felt when Hobbyboss announced their HET one month AFTER I had just bought the massive AA resin one!!!!!!!
In any case I am very glad things eventually make their way in styrene as I am not so skilled when it comes to resin.
Oh,by the way the editors/administrator have just made it official in the news section.

Where is the outrage? This is obviously a Accurate Armour copy!
(Being sarcastic here.)
As the Hobby Boss M1070 was brought up, I notice that while there was all kinds of "discussion" about them copying AA, not one person yet has mentioned it with Tamiya. Sigh.
I will, however, buy several of them.

Wow this is a surprize and good news. I haven't bought a Tamiya kit in ages. The figure looks pretty good .....for a Tamiya figure
I also would love to see them update the Bradley with a full interior

I have to check my backups.. I had a Walkaround of the Enigma that is in Bovington. It was also placed here in the walkarounds section but I guess it dissapeared with the several server moves and other problems.
