Hi there,
Has someone a good explanation for why the drivers position in the Boxer GTK is on the right hand side of the vehicle (i.e. close to the curb or edge of the road when driving on the right side) ? Other modern German armoured vehicles have the driver on the left (or centered) so why is the Boxer different?

well, doesn't the leo2 have the driver's position on the right as well?
as for the boxer I'd say there where some british influences and/or the fact that it's still an AFV, so there's no need to make it as road traffic suitable as your standard car...
other than that I read that it's quite easy getting used to it so it wouldn't make any difference (esp not in rough terrain).
Cheers, Max
