Could someone tell me how the Germans would have abbreviated "Divisional Headquarters" on a road sign? I think "Hauptsitz" is the right word for HQ, and division is just "Division", but wanted to be sure. Also, I was thinking of including the standard triangular penant to denote a Div HQ, but am not sure if they would have used that on a sign or if those were only used to mark maps... TIA

I'm not really sure if it's accurate military slang, but I'd say Divisionshauptquartier.
