I am thinking about betting the Wespe Mack NO 7.5 ton truck to pair with an M59 Long Tom. Does anyone have an opinion on the kit? It looks pretty good from the pics I have seen.

I bought one, but wasn't terribly impressed. The wheels and tires look like they were taken off of a toy; the tread and size is nowhere close to correct. The details are soft, and will require some scratch work to really get it right. It's sitting far down in my stack. I know that there aren't many options out there, but it's going to be a challenge if you go for it and want to do it right.

Thanks Normson. You have confirmed what I have been hearing. I think I will pass on.

If you can fine the Azimut kit of the Mack NO it is MUCH, much better!

I scratched a Mack NO a few years back. Here is the result:

Here is a better photo log on my scratch construction of the Mack NO in 1/35th.
