So I found a mystery sprue in the spares box that holds parts which resemble a camping stove; ostensibly German judging from the mess tin German soldiers wore on their webbing. Also included is a spoon, water canteen and tin can with an open lid as a separate part. The sprue is labelled "E", and I'm pretty sure it's from a Dragon/DML kit but can't recall which one for the life of me.

I'm looking for instructions. The stove comprises two parts for sure (body and front of body with moulded in handle), and a part which looks like it fits as a hinged cover (like a Coleman stove). Then there's another square flat part with moulded-in tools: some sort of a wrench and a knob/cog looking thing.

If anyone has this sprue and can identify the purpose of the tool holder looking thingy, please advise. The stove is definitely NOT an Esbit stove.

Regards...

Ola Mat

If it is Dragon the Camping stove comes probably from the DAK Troops set Dragon released some years ago. They later rereleased it with their DAK workshop Kubelwagen and possibly rereleased it as separate set later
It's the set of figures pictured here. Featuring a dog and a lizard as well.

I can't directly recall the part you are talking about. I have the set at my parents home in storage but I;m afraid I can't get there in the timeframe you are looking for your answer. Hope this helps you in your search to what the part is.
