looks like they are taking orders. Must say I am surprised and even happy. I know that some have been very vocal about the quality of the casts, but they have consistently offered options that no one else does. We'll see.

I think you have mistaken AEF for another resin manufacturer.
I have had many dealings with Tony and never had any issues
at all.

looks like he's just rationalized the products & dropped off some of the IDF accessory sets (possibly while they're re-done).
Some of his conversions have recently been superceeded by plastic kits -- Tamiya Enigma, Trumpeter BMP-3 etc.
Over 10yrs, I also have not had any issue with Tony - his casts are 97% as a good as AA & his service (for a one-man band) is good.

sort of like the Titanic was a minor boating accident?
If that's your experience with him then you are the modelling equivalent of the 1%
the vast majority of us have had the exact opposite experience

And I'm in the 98%, awful quality, dismal service. Debited your credit card and you hoped you'd receive the goods months later (sometimes you didn't receive them) and when you received it their stuff was mostly unusable, or just a guide for scratchbuilding new parts).
I was also black listed by AEF for daring to comment on their very bad M48A2GA2 conversion over on Missing Lynx. First time I've seen a vendor doing that, lovely guy indeed!
The good side of it if I won't do anything crazy and be tempted to order again.
Cheers,
Christophe

I hope that Tony will concentrate on the contents of his kits. I ordered three sets (the SF M1078 sets) from AEF back in 2010, unfortunatley they didn't arrive complete - missing various items including the weapons and mounts. Tony did promise to send the parts on, but I've given up waiting.
Most of the items are well moulded and it was just a shame that stuff was missing. I am sure there are plenty of modellers here that have seen both sides of AEF, I hope that AEF improves and that the business continues with improved customer service.
Regards
Brian
