Could we expect a comparison review, I mean not an "official" Armorama review but some comments on this thread?

Terry has posted a comparative review on PMMS.. seems both kits have problems.

It looks like I will be getting the Panda one. I'm glad I waited for the comparison reviews.
Just a quick comparison...
The Panda kit is better detailed. The Kinetic kit is overall larger (I don't know which is more correct). Kinetic's doesn't have decals for the instruments panel. Weapons are worse on the Kinetic version too.

I will make a parallel build if I can get my hands on the Panda. Not in the zoo. ( special joke for the French guys).
My 1st impression based on the instruction it seems well engineered.

I kind of get the impression that Kinetic concentrated on the engineering so that the assembly is simpler.. and maybe that was at the expense of some of the details.
I have to say it's good to have both, though... the Panda for the more experienced modelers.. and the Kinetic will be good for the less experienced who don't want to deal with all that PE.. like me Although I did get the Panda kit too.. I figure maybe I'll get better at working with PE and I'll build it some day.. while the Kinetic will be good for me now

I am working on the Panda one now. For me, the PE isn't the hard part- it's the errors in the directions and the vague part placement pictures. There are parts shown in the direction that don't look like the parts on the sprue and other parts that are extremely difficult to see the proper orientation. Also, the drivers seat appears to have the frame locating holes on the wrong side of the seat pan and some of the locating pins are not well molded. I definitely recommend having some good references while building (I am using Rob Skipper's CD). The PE is thick enough that it bends easy and is relatively sturdy, although parts of the radio rack seem to be too short to assemble as shown.
