I have the MB Models resin version. Lots of PE and big hunks of resin, metal individual track links. I was licky to score it at a sale at my local shop for 35. I don't think MB is in production any longer.

EMHAR may have something... but I'm not sure about it.
Otherwise, I think that CMK has a renault tracked vehicle in german colors.

penpen,
Emhar is WW1 british and CMK has a few French tractors, the Char Bibis is the bigg WW2 tank with a turret and a bigger gun mounted in the hull.

I've heard rumors that someone is planning on doing either the Char B1 bis or the Char D1 in plastic (1/35), but I can't remember who. I want to say that I saw this information in MMiR. I will look at the magazine tonight and post a definate tomorrow if that is where I saw it.

That would be excellent...
If anyone has the book by Jean Restayn called "Tanks of WW2", it has several color illustrations of Chars, Soumas and Renaults. Excellent eye candy if you can find it!

O.K. Here's what I got. In MMiR #27 in the "The Idea Bank" section which contains people's wish lists, it says that there is a Char B1 announced from RPM. Let's hope that it is of the quality of their T-60 or their FT-17.

Guys,

Got one of the MB Models Char BI bis kits. No PE but lots of resin and white metal. Can send pics.

Anyone want it? Make me a trade offer.

Thomas,

Don't think there was any PE. I just checked the kit and can't find the little road wheels. Guess the guy I got it from didn't include them when he was packing up to move. Anyway if your still interested I'd trade for a junk box Hetzer or 113s.
