Hey guys I had some questions about painting US army troops in Vietnam. I use model master paint mostly and i am aware depending on the deployment area the jungle uniforms would change colors. I'm looking mostly on how to paint the troops stationed more in the dry highlands where the uniform would get that bleached green look. Any and all help is appreciated and ill be posting my first diorama soon.

High lands or lowlands the "greens" tended to start OD but head towards being quite light, almost white fairly quickly. Most uniforms would either be dark with sweat and have a real red tinge from the dust.

Have a look in the Vietnam campaign thread there are a number of builds of troops that have the colour spot on.
