Hi all,
I haven't done a WW11 dio in a very long time and after mostly jungle and desert I am thinking a winter dio would be a change. These 2 Trumpeter kits got my attention and were at an exellent price. The armoured one is what ,I thought would be a quick build, turned into to be hell. The instructions are bad and a lot of the pieces don't fit very well.Far too many PE parts that are very hard to bend because they are soooo small. For example, the struts on the skis.I got fid up some times and just cut styrene ones to replace.

You know, sometimes I wonder if there is anyone out there that can just buy one type of Aerosan. I know I can't, they're too darn cool

Hey Jeremy,
You are so right.1 would be fine, but I had to get both.
They are cool and something different from tanks in winter.

ME!!! Well, for now anyway!
Bought the unarmoured version at Christmas for a quick build, but after looking at some online builds and reading about the faults on the kit, I have ordered the Voyager etch set and have already received the Hornet "Heads with Soviet style WW2 ushanka cold weather caps" (HRH06) and will attempt some small fixes. It does look cool and if it works out OK, I will probably go for the armoured version later.
