Hi!
Ok lets say it this way. I guess there isnīt something wrong. We all know the price policy of HF, and this is a quite large rig. It is as large as a bus (13m long) and it has a lot of large parts which all look very well detailed. It is expensive, but may be worth the amount if you want to have it on shelf. The German and British rigs are based 40km from my hometown and are quite impressive when you see them in use.

If someone is intereste din performance and information on the real thing, here is a nice presentation video:

Hi Henk,

The M3 is a huge vehicle, having spent 6 years in Hameln, home of the Rigs, I can testify to their size. They are truly impressive and we took them to Poland in '97 for Ex Uhlan Eagle and used them for ferrying operations.

Yes I have seen the kit and yes I'd love the kit, but I can't see me affording it just yet.

LOL - I did 4 years ('79 - 83) at Hameln when they had M2 and M2B's - I know AA used to do an M2, but since the RBS ran out of cash they can't lend me enough to be able to buy one

To be fair to HF on the pricing, this is such a niche subject they aren't going to sell many to recover their costs. Its one of those things that if it appeals to someone they'll buy it, even if it was Ģ100 cheaper most people wouldn't even spend that on a subject like this. It certainly seems one gets a lost of resin for their dollar. Nice looking subject, wouldn't mind one myself, but I fall into that category thats not interested enough to spend large sums on it.
