Looks fantastic. Excellent job on the figures and the tank. Can you explain how you did the paintjob/whitewash on the Panther please? I would like to do the same effect on my next build. Thanks!

Thanks a lot. The whitewash was made with the hairspray tecnique: I gave a Vallejo dark yellow base, a coat of Future and the hairspray, followed by the Vallejo white, removed with a wet, hard brush.

Thanks a lot.
The infantry on the tank is from Evolution model, very good products. The tanker is Alpine with Hornet head, and the two guys in the snow are Dragon, quite heavily converted.
The snow is made with Prochima microballs.
All the figures are painted with Vallejo.
Some oils and AK products were used for the weathering on the tank.

Luca- this is an outstanding piece of work. I think you have captured the cold battered look of the infantry and the heavily used look of the Panther perfectly. The setting is pretty good too, with the tank raised up on a road and some interesting scrap beside it, plus the two soldiers struggling up the bank. Fantastic work.

I really like the shading you've done on the snow cover uniforms. Really nice.

Hi Luca,
Very nice dio.
I particularly like the work on the uniform white. How did you proceed ? Did you apply washes in the fold ? What kind of color did you use for them ? blue mixed with white ?
I also like the two guys, particularly the kneeling one. The helmet of the helping hand guy is fabulous.
Very nice work overall !
Best,
Julien

Luca,
Hi and thanks for your reply. I thought those figures looked familiar; Evolution "Bakers Dozen" figures. Have them in my stash and will start them soon. If mine turn out 1/2 as well as yours I'd be happy. Again, Get Work on the Panther and Figures.

Thanks, to paint the white uniforms, I use a base of light grey and then apply MANY layers of different tones of darker grey, VERY thinned with the Vallejo medimum Glaze. It is a long process, but you can control it very well.
