Well, as Tamiya's T-55 Enigma is almost released, I felt that it was time to finish an ancient build I started years ago...
Its based on the old Esci kit, with some additions and the Enigma blocks scratched with styrene sheet, nuts from Grandt and some made from punched styrene, added fuel tanks supports, and fuel line tubing were made with copper wire, and other details I just don't remember now, LOL
These photos suck, due to very bad lighting and my lack of skills to photograph models, so be patient with them, since they are a bit grainy and not so sharp
On the long building and storing process -should I say on the years that this model was forgotten, a couple of wheels and the IR reflectors felt apart, so I have to fix them again. Also need some wiring for lights...
It still needs wheel rubber bands and gun mantlet to be painted, tracks to be installed, additional weathering and some chipping here and there
Feel free to criticize it and suggest any improvement

Howdy Hugo, it looks fine considering the base kit. You have done a lot of neat scratch work. Get it finished before the Tamiya offering hits the shelves! Great job.

Milo, thanks for your comments, coming from a modeller like you they are really appreciated!
Mike, thanks to you too.
You're right about the base kit, lot of work involved to get an acceptable turret shape, and to improve the rear hull plate and engine grills... Tamiya's soon release made me decide to finish this one before their kit arrives to hobby shops
