With all the little detail items being offered for modelers these days, I find it increasingly difficult to source Hex Bolts and Nuts in 1/35 th. scale. Not the flat etched type, but raised resin types in the 1:1 sizes used for Armor Railroad and Soft skin trucks and related equipment. I know I can make my own with rods and hex, but as age and dexterity closes in on me, I'd rather buy them. It is just as pricey to make'em as to buy'em. So I petition manufacturers to please make us some nice nuts and bolts in resin or brass. Comments welcome.

i second this request and it saves so much time if they can be bought . id like the ones that are inside of the m2a2 bradley which hold the internal armour plates up , this build has ground to a halt as i cant find a way to produce accurate and uniform bolt heads and washers . dose any one know if any company make these ???

Archer makes resin rivets, welds, tread plate, etc.

Bronco makes styrene wing nuts, round, and hex bolt heads.
Is there something in particular you're looking for?

And, of course there's always Grandt Line and Tichy Trains, both of who make nut, bolt & washer combos in many useful armour sizes. And in styrene too, so they're easy to work with.

Thank you all for the links. They are very useful as I am the worlds worst surfer and can't seen to find anything these days.
Has anyone tried to order from Grant Lines, I sent them an email about two months back, about ordering some items and never heard back. Are they still up?. Again I thank you all.

Just remember, of course, to do the conversions between the railroad scales listed on many of the nuts & bolts and the armour scale you are working in.
N=1/160
HO=1/87
S= 1/64
O= 1/48
Also note that many railroad nuts (not the modellers, the parts...) are four sided square nuts and not the more common 6-sided hex nuts seen on AFVs and more modern vehicles & machines. They always tell you what the nut is in the part description, so read carefully. Normally, in 1/35 scale you can't tell for the more common sized parts (below, say 3/4" diameter in scale) whether it's 4 or 6 sided, but for the really big nuts, you can, so just be aware.

In addition to Grant Line and Tichy, and Scale Hardware, Lion Roar also makes brass slot-headed scale screws.
In the past, I've place some quite large orders (usually US $100+ at a time for a several-years supply) with Grant Line with no problems.
However, here's yet another option: The UMM Hex Punch and Die set. It runs less than half the price of the OOP Historex set, and does an excellent job.

There are really a lot of options out there for nut and bolt details, though.

Grandt Line only seems to make 4-sided nuts. Tichy makes 6-sided NWB's which are very well defined and are large enough for 1/35. I used some on an Acedemy M10 and they look great.

Welcome Sherman: Something to do with forum posts is to see when was the last date of the last post. Almost a year ago. You might want to reply more with the current ones.
