Hello this is how I make the mediterranean tiles.
take a clear plastic piece from a hanging folder ( these folders from archives in the offices)
cut them in parts of around 11 mm and lime a bit in the rear part and in the sides.
These clear pieces have semi eliptical section, that is more or less the section of a tile
the result is this:

Carlos I think I know the part of the folder you mean but can you show a pic of it before you cut it to make the tiles?

I have this from a catalog,itīs the upper part of the folder , the white linein the photo. really itīs a plastic piece that protect the paper. but If you need I can make a photo only of the piece

Yes I know it-unfortunately now that every piece of info is stored online i doubt I will find these anywhere

This technique can also be used for a german way of tiling known as "Mönche und Nonnen" (Monks and Nuns" where, according to a book on roof-laying "One monk is lying on two nuns":
