Hello this is how I make the mediterranean tiles.
take a clear plastic piece from a hanging folder ( these folders from archives in the offices)
cut them in parts of around 11 mm and lime a bit in the rear part and in the sides.
These clear pieces have semi eliptical section, that is more or less the section of a tile
the result is this:

Carlos I think I know the part of the folder you mean but can you show a pic of it before you cut it to make the tiles?

I have this from a catalog,it´s the upper part of the folder , the white linein the photo. really it´s a plastic piece that protect the paper. but If you need I can make a photo only of the piece
