Howdy folks,
I'd like to build an 'plain' M1 (not IP) and am considering mating the Tamiya upper hull and turret to the lower and rear hull of the Dragon M1 Panther II kit. This will give me the option to more easily change the suspension for the base, as well as it will fix the inaccuracies of the Tamiya rear hull. (There is a small dimensional difference between the kits but that should be solvable).
Any objections?
I also count on using the left over commanders cupola from the Dragon M1A2 SEP kit, as well as perhaps side skirts and some smaller parts from the Panther II kit.
I guess it should be possible to use the upper hull from the Panther, but then the anti-slip have to be grinded of and that seem like a major PITA.
Sounds like a OK recipe?
Cheers,
/E

Howdy Pascal,
Many thanks! I'm a regular visitor on M-L but never checks the French forum so missed this one. Looks like a great build!
