Can anyone recommend me some paints that I can use to make the current CARC Tan used on US Vehicles in the Iraq/Afghan areas

I have many bottles of the Testors "Army/USMC Desert Tan Gulf War" but when used, it seems too dark compared to most photos I have or vehicles I used/saw in desert

I would prefer to use Tamiya paints for mixing, but anything would help
