Okay, so I'm laying here in bed thinking of what kind of model to build. Aircraft? Nah, got 3 I gotta build. Warhammer? Eh, I'd rather not have to sell some organs to get the money. Aha! I've got it. I'll do a Pzkpf III or IV. Now, where y'all come in is helping me to decide what vehicle and mark I'm going to build. Thanks!

Also, what theatre should it be modeled for. And should it be in German use, or should it be "captured"

Maybe the Panzer IV ausf G in the Battle of the Bulge? There's more than a few dioramas and tanks on that subject out there but I haven't seen anyone do a Panzer IV in that setting

FWIW: I'm partial to "ultimates," the first's and final's for most tanks.

So, right now I'm really liking the Pz III M with the turret and hull Schurtzen along with the deep wading exhaust and cooling air intake covers. If I did one, I think I'd go with a Kursk tank in dark yellow and green.

I know the Pz III N with the short L/24 75mm gun was the final version, but that wasn't a "real" gun tank with the 50mm gun for tank vs. tank fighting.

To me the "ultimate" version of the Pz III is represented by one of the brand new tanks used at Kursk!

If you're looking for votes - that'd be mine.

BTW: Where'abouts in SC are you?

Happy Modeling!
