Hi all,

I have been looking around (google and here) trying to get a best recommendation to replace the (IMO) ugly 3-piece track links in this kit. Each link has a sink mark so don't want all that extra work.

So what would be a good replacement set to get. I want to do a Canadian also if you gents could recommend decals for that?

The kit comes with 2 British versions, the 13th/18th Royal Hussars and the 4th County of London Yeomanry. Maybe would use one of them too.

Thanks for any recommendations that you can provide.

Try accurate armour - they have some very nice resin sherman track sets.

Kevin, James and John,

Thanks for the links and ideas. Now just need to pick something and order it!

Another quick question. Do you know if it was 'common' for a Sherman with EEC's to get some of them lost? You know broken off, etc?

Thanks,

John

Oh yea, pictures of Shermans with the extended end connectors often show some missing and others bent.

BTW: You'll like the Panda tracks. They're tedious to clean up and assemble, but they look better than any other Sherman tracks that I can think of.

That's the set that I did on my Candian Firefly Mk Vc:

Thanks for the information Mike. You are a really skilled modeler!

FYI, for the rest of you who might be interested. I would like to give a big thumbs up to Paul and Panda Plastics. I ordered the tracks on Wednesday around noon and received them on Friday by 3 (all ET US). Kudos Paul!!!
