Hello all,
I am currently attempting to complete all the shelf queens and I ran across a BRDM-2 that has been waiting half-assembled for more than 5 or 6 years. I decided to build this before any of the usual suspects come up with a brand new issue of a BRDM kit.
The old DML kit offers decal options for Russian, Polish and East German vehicles, as well as Iraqi ones. Problem is, except for the Iraqi BRDM-2, all others are plain green.
Question: Are there any camouflage options for Polish, East German or Soviet Russian vehicles?
If not, what would be suitable Gunze Sangyo Mr Hobby Colors to build a green-sand camouflaged Iraqi vehicle?

Hi,
Polish version you can do also in NATO camo or in sand, but you should be careful as some of Polish BRDMs have been modified by removing small wheels and adding side doors:

Trumpeter has announced the release of their BRDM-2 and a BRDM-2 ATGM version, so i'd hurry if you want to beat the release date!

I've seen the Nürnberg announcement, that's why I'm in a hurry to complete the kit It's nearly ready for painting, that's why I'm looking up for proper colors.
Polish examples are good, but sadly they all seem to have been modified.

What about an East German SPW-40P2 belonging to the Volkspolizei-Bereitschaften (special police unit) :
On a side note, Revell's re-boxing of DML's kit included at least one NVA camouflaged option :

That police vehicle looks nice Frenchy. Do you, by any chance, have the painting instructions or photos for that NVA BRDM-2 in the Revell box?

I'll have to check that (when I'm back home from work), but maybe this would help in the meantime ?

The first one is Russian (you'd have to modifie it a wee bit), i think the second Gerogian and dunno about the third. For the third one you would only have to add a couple of doors
