I'd like to pose my Tamiya Quad's front axles at an angle. The kit doesn't give a clue where to cut. Does anyone have pics of the front axle joints? Actually it doesn't have to be a Quad. Any all-wheel-drive truck's front axle of the same era will do. I'm not aiming for accuracy. I just want it to look right

Thanks!

behind the brake drum you will notice what appears to be a 'ball'. This is where the axle pivots. If unsure e-mail me at......
[email protected] and I will try and give you some pics

Are you talking about the M-16 Quad half track? Tamiya's kit comes with turnable front wheels. I have built six of these half tracks and they all turn.

Thanks Marcel!
Cliff also sent me some very helpful pics via email. It's doable

It's not the M16 animal. It's the Tamiya 4x4 Quad Gun Tractor. Maybe they came out before Tamiya thought of turnable front wheels
