I would like to paint some Marines soldiers and French soldiers with CIRAS body armor but I don't know which color to use in acrylic paint for the body armor.

I use Vallejo Model Color US Field Drab No. 142 or 70.873.

hi there, i personally use tamiya bark yellow as a base which gives a darkish yellow, then i use a citadel wash called darklan mud to give a thin wash over it and it can give many variations of colour the thinner the was the lighter the coyote brown. used this for years and works everytime, also mig washes/any other wash i have used will work aswell aslong as its a brown or a mud, ut id try those out before i use them on a figure. be sure to post pics of the figures so we can complement your work. good luck
