Gents,

I got the HobbyBoss M0170 HET and have been studying the instructions to understand it. I have questions re bending of photoetch for specific parts, the metal feels fairly hard:

1) part PE-MD13, this is the sun visor inside the cab, step 18, page 17. My concern is that one side appears to be very narrow,

2) part PE-MB8, this is the grill outside the exhaust pipe, step 23, page 21, how do you bend this?

3) part PE-SC9, metal piece on front of trailer, step 17, page 42, again it appears to be 2 separate bends, pretty close to each other.

Your advice is much appreciated, as I expect that your answer will apply to other photoetch parts throughout. Thanks for all of you who have posted progress, etc. on this bad boy!

I used an etch mate (bought specifically for this kit) and annealed the etch to soften it

Still managed to knack up a few parts though

But the kit is a gem, and the trailer in particular is a work of art
