Hi all, I found this site recently as I am returning to the hobby after 20 years... because I had moved into RC planes and other stuff... but my 12 year son has decided to redecorate his room in a modern warfare 2/3 and Battlefield 2/3 so we thought doing some 1/35 scale models to represent various in-game scenes would be great in diorama form to go into a glass cabinet in the corner of his room...plus getting him interested in something creative other then Xbox... So I am doing research and found this site...Great by the way...signed up and found out about this campaign thing...sounds good... so anyone into doing a campaing for in game scene done in scale of choice... Heli / Armour / Figures / Airplanes ... Heck in MW3 you have ships in the harbour... only stipulation would be that diorama must include a JPG of the original scene...from the game...
any interest
Marc

Just as an exemple:
I am looking at doing the midway scene from "Black Tuesday" of the MW3 campaign where a HH-60G hovers at the edge of the roof of a Manhatten skyscrapper and pick's up the two main characters to continue the mission...
I will use an Academy/MRC 1/35 MH60-G as well as trumpeter crew figures and Legend modern infantry figures
Here is a JPG of the scene

Hi Marc,
sounds like an interesting idea. i am a fan of call of duty as well, and i have made a little vignette depicting one of the missions in call of duty 4 modern warfare.
its supposed to be captain macmillian and leftennant price (captain price back when he was only a leftennant) in the level "all ghillied up." i used two figures from tamiya's 1/35 us assault infantry set, and modified m1 garlands to represent the suppressed m-21 sniper rifles in the game. your son might recognise this scene
ps. if you would like a more detailed description of how i made it, here is a link to a tumblr blog that i posted it on: http://in-scale.tumblr.com/post/24120848739/so-this-is-where-my-love-for-gaming-combines-with

Marc,
This is how I found this site as well, and I also said about doing a campaign along the same lines, didn't get much interest but I have carried on myself doing battlefield ones, I have done a humvee, a lav-25 and doing a Amtrak next
