Can anyone explain the difference to me between the M1A1 and the M1AHA ??

well the armor package on a m1a1ha (heavy armor ) is a bit stronger than a "stock" m1a1 the turret on a heavy is 2.5 tons heavier than a m1a1. The heavy has a extra plate of DU armor in the turret face . The tracks on a heavy are usually the big foot track pads , the tracks on a m1a1 are the old chevron types - but they are starting to be changed to the new ones as the old ones wear out . Actual physical differences are that the turret front is few inches longer on the M1A1HC (Heavy Common) than on the M1A1. DML has this molded accurateley on their HA version, none of the others do IIRC. Plus the welded turret ID number has a U on the end of it(i.e., 4410-U)
