I use Microbrushes to apply Accelerator to CA glues. It's neater than using the spray bottle.

As with MGard, above, I use mine primarily to apply accelerator. No need to worry about getting CA on a good brush or wasting the excess spray from the nozzle.
I wonder if FSM is including these in all their mags this month.

I couldn’t do without them. I get them at Micromark.com. I use the superfine and regular mostly, for touching up paint, highlighting, and applying CA in tight places. The more you use them, the more things they come in handy for.

Hi there

I got the sample pack too... and like Martin was wondering what they're good for...

Are the fuzzy ones "throw-away", or can you keep them clean?

Thanks for the tips everyone. :-)

All the best

Merlin, I re-use mine quite a bit. I clean them up with mineral spirits after each use. Even after the “fuzziness” is worn off, you can still use the fine tip for CA application. They are a very useful tool.

No samples in my subscription to FSM.
But I buy and use Micro Brushes all the time. Great for kicker, and an Ambush paint scheme.

Hi again

Thanks again for the tips. :-)

The freebie microbushes might have only been included by the UK (or European) distributor of FSM. We get our copies several weeks after the US, but we've had decals and other goodies thrown in occasionally - so it's well worth the wait!

All the best

When I went to pick up th elatest FSM at the store, I noticed that there was a regular edition and a Special Edition. The special edition was the one with the samples.
The brushes are very handy for a multitude of touchups and applications as mentioned above.. Have had some for about 6 months now and they still show no signs of wear and tear.
