Adding detail and color using newfound (to me anyway) techniques to ‘update’ a previously completed model.
Some people consider it blasphemy to touch-up a 'finished' model, but to me if it improves the look of the kit and helps hone my skills, then why not? It is not as if I had stripped the paint off and started over. It is more like taking the added steps I would have done when the model was first built, had I known how at the time.
I am by no means or measure a good modeler, decent maybe, but not nearly as good as many of the builders found on Armorama, so please don’t judge the ‘renovation’ philosophy based on my workmanship. But some feedback would be appreciated.
