I've seent M1A1 and Challenger II kits at Hobby Lobby and found out that they are Trumpeters kits. They just got in the Bradley and 2 Hummer kits in today and I didnt get to see whats in the box.
Has any one seen these yet and what kit is in the box, knock off of Tamiya's Bradley and knock offs of Academy's or Italeri's Hummers?????????????

Just a SWAG, but didn't Lee do a poor copy of both a Bradley and a HMMWV that used the Italeri Command HMMWV for their box art? The box art for the Brad barely resembled one.

Do the original trumpeter kits come with rubber band style tracks or indy links? And what do the reboxed hobbycraft versions come with? Do they come with commander figures etc? I am very curious, as they seem to be a fair bit cheaper than other brands.

I have the M1A1 with mineplow and the T-59 Iraqi. Both come with figures, both include new decals as well as the trumpeter ones. The T-59 has only rubberband tracks and the M1A1 has both rubberband and link & length tracks. The instructions have the hobbycraft logo. Neither has painting or decaling info.

Oops...just re-read your post and thats not what you asked. I'll leave the info there in case someone else needs it.
I do have a Trumpeter M1A1HA kit. It has the same figures and both types of tracks. It does have painting and decaling info.

I have been looking at the Hobbycraft Hummer and have been wondering whose kit it was from. I saw above that it could be the Italeri. I found this site that shows the part trees, decals and tires and they match the Academy M1025 armored hummer. Could someone clear this up?

Hard saying without seeing the Hobbycraft kit sprues. I do remember reading that the C.C.Lee Hummer had "borrowed" the Italeri artwork from the "Commando HUM-V" but their kit was motorized. Maybe Hobbycraft is reboxing the Academy kit.

The so called NEW HOBBYCRAP Bradley, Hummer and Abrams kits are reboxes of the 80's vintage Minicraft kits w/ differant artwork. As for the Russian armor kits , they are reboxed Trumpeter kits. My local Hobbyshop opened each to inspect the contents, because
we were both suspiscous. We were right. Nothing new.
