This is my second diorama and my second time using water. I tinted the water for a dark blue hue to mimic the dark blue of the french rivers in Europe. I took these pictures before adding any miscellanious folliage because well to be honest i just forgot to add it in yet. This scene is meant to depict the helmet and rifle of a fallen German soldier. I painted part of the inside helmet with a red/black mix of paint to achieve a blood color. I did my best to weather the helmet and make it look beat up and war torn.As always any comments, and criticism are welcome

Jake,
What is the brown stuff supposed to be? A beach, a river bank?
Why does the water stop on the right side? (second picture)
Have you any intend to "close" the dio with a bordure or anything like that ? (mainly near the water)
Claude

It was supposed to be more of a riverbank. The water stops there on te right side due to an unintentional screw up more than anything. Least to say after this second build I'm going to stay away from water for a little while until I can take some time to really practice with it.
