After being on this site a couple weeks now I've noticed that no one ever uses the "chatter-boxes." Why??? Is it because not enough people are ever on at one time?

The chat is very laggy. We tried it out with Anders and switched to MSN Messenger.
Is it just me or is the chat engine slow? It took 10 secs per message to show up!

Toni,
It does vary depending on your connection and ISP. I would say it's not very friendly for mac users (sorry Gunnie) and dial-up users. It's only real strength is that you can see when people are chatting on the site (something the IRC software I had before couldn't do).

When something better comes along I will be swtiching to it pronto!
