Hi,

I enlisted to Armorama 1/48 Scale Campaign. I start with an allied truck - GMC CCKW 353. Let's started the new project. It will be Tamiya set with ABER photo etched parts. There will be the small base also. So let's do it.

See you next up-date.

M.

Nice progress Mateusz on the GMC CCKW. I have built a few of these OOB and they all went together nicely.

Now, the truck is ready to paint. I add some more details. The canvas is made of the tissue. Let prepare some accesories, luggage and others on the back.

Next up-date. I have added some packs, bags, crates, barrels and the other accessories.

And the comparison with Mercedes L3000 from Bandai also in 1/48 scale.

Best,
M.

M - very professional base. Did you use a Hobby Knife to sculpt or another tool? The stret is very well done! The base coat I did a double take on as it's so light but I'm sure it will look good for scale effect when finished. Very nice work and those Aber details are showing well

Thank you for reply. To sculpting in plaster I use metal tool which is used to making small holes. This tool is sharp ended.

Applied decals and oil wash...

Hello Mateusz,

Indeed a very nice build.
I like the light colour and the very present but very "light" weathering.

I cannot believe I was in Gdynia for work from 25 to 30 Nov and I did not know about the model show!!

I will most probably return to the Gdansk/Gdynia area for works in the docks.
I have tried to find a modeling shop, but could not find one.

Can you tell me where to go when I am in Poland again.

Thank you,

Dennis

Now I am quite tempted to make one of these trucks. I especially like how you used different things from the Tamiya Road Sign set.
