The plan was to give it a wash and then some weathering. But here is my quetion. what is a satin varnish ?? and do i aply it now that me painting is done ? allso when do I apply the decals before the satin or varnish. ? And what about filters ?? Sorry for my bad english. Hope to hear from you all!

A satin varnish is a clear semi-gloss overcoat which will protect your basecoat,it also provides a good surface for your decals to lay down on,so you would apply it before decaling.Filters are the first step after your basecoat and before your satin coat.

Have you been on www.migproductions.com they have tutorials and articles for their products which will assist you.

I personally like Vallejo, after the satin you would apply a clear flat to finish it off

You can also decant clear, spray semi-gloss. Much cheaper than buying another bottle of hobby paint. I've never had any problems with spray cans, so long as they are decanted. Straight from the can, they apply too thickly and it is easy to lose detail.
