Hi all,
another stupid question about weapons used in Korea. Several book on the Korean war show M39 AUV`s equzipped with heavy weapons like the 81mm mortar or the Maxon M55 .50 cal turret.
Any ideas out there how the weapon would be mated to the chassis? A google search proved nothing. One guess is that the vehicles floor would be filled with sandbags to create a stable base for the mortar.
And a pledge to manufacturers: Why no vehicles from the Korean War? A M39 AUV for a reasonable price would be mega cool!
TIA
