I am building Tayiya's 1/48 Puma and I have 2 questions. The instructions say the interior should be white, with the seats being black. Is this correct?
And what where the seats covered with? Leather, vynal? Thanks,Jeff T.

The interior was usually white over primer. To what extent? Probably like other late war vehicles: bottom left primerred with white sides and top. As for the black seats... probably just a generalization. You may want to check out Staf Snyers` Bergepanther for some inspiration on what a late-war interior looked like.

The Germans didn't use white. They used Ivory - RAL 9001 Elfenbein. The instructions only call for white because Tamiya doesn't make Elfenbein. Black leather seats would be correct.

Jeff,
I've never had to mix the color, but in Tamiya I would try a few drops of buff in some white.
Vallejo makes the color, 70918 Ivory.
Also Model Master Acryl, 4805 Panzer Interior Buff.
And Lifecolor UA 232 German Elfenbein.
