You know, looking at these pictures (I have seen this site before) makes be think about the poor SOB's who were in/on those things when they got hit. As a former tanker it sure makes me shiver.

Anders, that's a great site!
I took a little better peek at it, and it looks like are a lot of photos, diagrams and drawings of Soviet armor, as well as all the shots of the knocked out tanks.
Thanks!!!

Great link Anders, thanks.Lots of good stuff to see on the site.Check out their forum, once you get used to some of the "Characters"on it you can get some great info on the Eastern front. Some of the damage to the Soviet and German tanks in the pics is amazing, makes you wonder if anyone escaped the Tanks after such damage.I agree 2-2 Dragoon it send a shiver down my spine when I look at them.
Thanks again Anders

Another great section of that site is the "I Remember" section. It contains interviews with and stories by former Soviet servicemen and servicewomen. The stories from the tankers and infantrymen are especially interesting.

Yes, I agree with all of you, its (for me) very seldom that you see acctual stories from people who fought in WWII, specially germans and russians. I also took some more time looking at it and read a few stories, I copied a section of a story in the Budapest '45 post. Very interesting!!

Tread--good to see you back up on the net. I did not receive the M-3 the package you sent. Do I need to panic?
