Memo to self... be sure to engage brain BEFORE using airbrush. The weather is warm here today so I thought I'd try to learn more about my Aztec airbrush by painting a few kits. I mixed up some Tamiya paint at about 50/50 denatured alcahol and paint. I could hardly get ANYTHING to come out. Had to open it up full and get to within about an inch of the serface. Not good. So I did what I always do, go to Armorama and search. I found all sorts of tips but nothing that seemed to answer my problem. I had been using a air can so I switched to my trusty compressor I use for my nail gun. Set the preasure at 25psi, nothing, 30psi, nothing, 40psi, still nothing. Hmmm.... what's going on here? I checked my connections, everything seemed to be ok. Looking over the airbrush I just couldn't find anything missing. Until I happened to notice the big gaping hole at the front. Maybe it would work better if I put the nozzle in? &*%$#
Oh well, live an learn.

-that's the 'yank' part. Why use a flyswatter to kill a fly, when you can use a tactical nuke to kill a fly
Halfyank- from Texas by chance?

Peter, no, I'm not trying to kill a fly with a nuke, I'm CHEAP! Can't stand paying top dollar for anything labeled "hobby" when I can buy things at Home Depot, or better yet grab stuff from my tool shed.
Nope, not from Texas. As a quasi liberal they'd probably run me out of there on a rail. Just a Yank Dad and a Limey Mum.
