Erhan,
You should have asked the forum here about that kit! It was the first build I did after returning to the hobby and almost made me decide to quit again. As you point out in your pictures, the suspension components are bad and the tracks were horrible. You are doing well considering all the problems.
IF you can find one, the Dragon Chi Ha tanks are fairly relaxing to build.
Cheers,
Jan

My kit came with Magic Tracks. I've never seen these tracks in that kit before.
Now that I have I'll never look forward to building with them. The performance is ... well, not what we want.

Jeff, this is the 1:72 scale version. Pretty sure you're talking about the 1:35th version. The Dragon DS tracks on 'most' of their US kits are good, solid offerings.

I just finished Revells 1/76 Jagdpanther and although the rubber band tracks where hard to work with,they where not as nasty as those.Jeff Tucker

Good looking build Erhan. Those tracks do look awful, and the kits looks over engineered. I assume this is an old Dragon kit?

@erhntly Erhan,
Model building is supposed to be relaxing and also helps you to forget about the days stressful events. But every once in a while you run into a kit with a few part and fit issues leaving you with more stress than you started with. In any event, good save with the tracks and drive wheels.
Erhan, depending on my motivation and mood that Im in I usually will go and check out the reviews section here or at 'onthewaymodels.com for a heads up on the kit before I begin. It will save you a lot of headaches.
Keep your builds coming, it makes me feel glad that someone is building something and having fun.

Pity they included such bad tracks in that kit. I guess we all open a kit and get disappointed every once in a while.
Anyway, good luck with the rest of your build.

@ Eddy , the kit total cost me under 10 usd (shipping HongKong-Turkey). Very cheap
Modeling not popular hobby in Turkey. We can't find all kinds of model. (Especially 1/72 scale) No problem about 1/72 scale Revell, Airfix, PST, Italeri. However, Dragon, Hasegawa, Trumpeter brands such as 1/72 scale distributors do not prefer. I use Ebay or international shopping sites.
"ontheway" great a useful resource. "ontheway" and "henkofholland" portals that contain important information for us. Sometimes I also contributing these portals.
@ Alexander, dear neighbor, There is no disappointment. Smile when we finished there. We love this smile.

Erhan,
Congratulations for completing this annoying kit, it is looking good. This was the first model I built after returning to the hobby and I had the same problems as you did. If you notice, I use a picture of it as my icon. My build was done back in 2008 for a Sherman Campaign and you may see some pictures of it here.
Cheers,
Jan

Hi Jan,
Thank you for your nice thoughts. I also liked the model when it completed, could do a few Sherman. I know your icon after return, an excellent result for the first model.
cheers..

Hi Erhan,
Good result, I like the color and weathering on the glacis plate. The tracks might be a let down but I find the rest of the model very good.

@erhntly Erhan,
I think you did a good job on this one; my favorite part is the weathering. I like the streaks of dirt running down the sides of the vehicle. Other than the horrible tracks the kit looks to be very well detailed. I will have to add this one to the stash after seeing how well you and Jan aka tread_geek did on building this kit. Ill need to source out some other tracks when I do build mine. I think that the tracks do not look as bad in person as they do in the up close photographs, cameras have a way of exaggerating or highlighting details that are otherwise unseen when in front of us (I think I said that right?).
Thanks for posting and sharing your work here, hope to see you continue having fun here.

As far as I'm concerned anything looking that good in 1:72 is a success. I can't build that small.

Erhan,
Beautiful Sherman.
About the tracks:
My son built the Trumpeter Easy 8 when he was 10 and the tracks on those fit perfectly. Would those Tumpeter tracks fit the Dragon kit?
