Hi to everybody,
I would like to know which AM brand makes a correct Tiger II barrel.
I would like to know for the different versions of the barrel that the Tiger II had (monoblock, etc).
Thanks in advance,
Angel

Hi,
Basically there were two types of barrel; mono-block and sectional.
And two types of muzzle; the larger early model and the smaller late model.
This gives 3 options:
1.Mono-block with large muzzle; early 'Porsche' TigerII's
2.Sectional barrel with large muzzle; later 'Porsche' and early 'Serien' TigerII's.
3.Sectional barrel with small muzzle; later (most) 'Serien' TigerII's.
for reference look at Aber barrels:
35L-013 - Mono-block/early muzzle
35L-015 - Sectional/early muzzle
35L-008 - Sectional/late muzzle
HTH,
Grant.

Thanks Grant.
I understand that you recommend Aber barrels.
Do you happen to know if there are other AM barrels which are correct? Are Voyager's AM barrels correct?
Here in China Aber is not easy to get.
Thanks in advance,
Angel

Hi Angel,
I only used the Aber barrels as reference just to show the 3 options.
I can't comment on Voyagers Tiger II barrels but I can imagine they are fine, because their Tiger I barrels are accurate. Here:

Voyager also have the 3 options:
VBS0107 - Mono-block/large muzzle
VBS0108 - Sectional/large muzzle
VBS0109 + VBS0110 Sectional/small muzzle (2 different styles of mantlet)
