Does anybody know what are the spare tracks? They're not regular Panther tracks.

Do you mean the removable ice cleats?

There bundled up on the rear hull side, in the place where spare track links are normally stored, are the removable ice cleats provided in the Tamiya Steel Wheeled Panther kit.
