MAZ 537 intermediate in Afghanistan?

Hello!
I got a great deal on trumpeters maz 537 intermediate with trailer... so good i couldn't pass it up
I really want to make it an 80's Afghanistan vehicle, but before i do i wanted to see if any of you experts know if the intermediate type was used in Afghanistan? or was only the late versions there?

I don't know if you are still interested but i found this by accident. I think it is an maz-537 intermediate type in afghanistan.

Hey Aaron..I'm surprised Mauro hasn't chimed in yet! He has tons of pics of the Maz.. the ones I was sent only show a few in Afgan, and appear the late model.

I am doing the maz also. I am going to be interested to see your progress. I hope mine comes out ok. Glueing PE is hard an I use super-glue. I just got to pratice more an having the right tools makes it alot easier.

Can't use CA? I know a few modelers that are deathly allergic to CA and can not use it AT ALL!

I'm glad it doesn't affect me and I gotta get me a Maz too.
