Big Old Trees (2/kit)
Size: 7" - 7 ˝"

Woodland Scenics was an early pioneer of metal model tree models. This kit includes 2 bendable and paintable lead-free metal tree armatures and dark green Foliage of 7 to 7 ˝ inches.

Cool, but I prefer to do the structures of my trees.
How do I use the scale is 1:35, so I use the foliage of the lichen Woodland Scenics.

Rodrigo,

Nice tree. A fine diorama!

Wire trees are extremely authentic. You can really represent roots. If one stands close to the trunk of a tree and looks up, one can see that most trees grow in a twisting motion. I can post some photos with examples if anyone would like.

I am not a fan of bare lichen foliage though. It has a place although I think it is too thick to represent branches, and completely lacks any leaf detail. If one sprinkles a leaf product onto lichen it can look great.

Thanks for showing us how you make your tree.
