Building my first British Army Sherman. Base colour will faded yellow with dark grey/bk camo. What colour did they prime their tanks, or did they just paint over olive drab. Cheers

thanx Pat,
I have two questions, in your opinion, do u know how well the british pain stuck to the olive drab? The other is, would u chip using sponge or hairspray on this build. The reason I'm asking is due to all the sand in North africa. I guess, was there a lot of chipping due to the sand being so abrasive? cheers
