I've a Minotaur primed and ready to paint. However, I don't know what colors to use for it.

Do wargamers have a color symbolism creed, such as red for demonic, black for evil, tan for strength, yellow for courage, blue for calm, orange for fiery temper, brown for furry, etc.?

I've seen monsters painted in shades of red, blue, green, yellow, tan, etc. The skin tones look really cool, but I'm wondering if they reflect the beasts of comics and video games because some of the video games have beasts with skin tones to match their personalities (such as the HULK is green to denote he's a genetic mutant...green to also symbolize something went wrong and the plant extract). Green could also mean that he's sick too (and I don't want my Minotaur sick).

I think color symbolism goes way back to the Dynasties and Legions of Rome. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks.
