I bought the Hobbycraft 1/35 USMC abrams at Hobby Lobby for $9.50, any way i primed some of it in a flat white primer and then got the idea to do a "Winter Abrams". So now the Question is there a paint scheme for this and what are the colors if there is any.

If I remember right they were white, black and a little field drab The original M1 kit that Tamiya produced had a winter camo scheme in their instructions. Can someone help him out with a set of them? When I was stationed in germany we would whitewash our tanks when we went on manuevers in the snowC[ ]

Verlinden shows an M1 (not M1A1) that had a regular CARC green finish with whitewash painted on in something of a criss-coss fashion. I will see if I can find the pic.

I meant to ask. Hobbycraft makes an Abrahms? How is the quality of tht kit. I am honest here, I am not a fan of their aircraft kits. The detail is poor. So I am curious how their armor is. I didn't even know they made armor.

The Hobbycraft Abrams is just the Trumpeter Abrams under a different dress and with different make-up.

On the inside of some of the parts it says the name. It is wierd that you get two sets of tracks. One is flexable and the other is standard plastic. The funny part is no paint schemes execpt for the uniforms.

I can send you a scan of the other kits instructions for the paint schemes if you want. PM me your email.
