Hi all,

This was and still is my first 1/72nd scale kit by Dragon. It was fun but a bit difficult. Tiny tools, parts, and big fingers are not a good match so some were broken and repaired. Ill will definately do another 1/72nd kit again. I hope you guys like it. any and all comments welcome. Thanks!

One of my favorite versions of the Tiger (my hats off to ya Gary) and I would not have known it was that scale either. Looks like 1/35th and really nasty looking too!

I love it!

@BBD468 - Gary,

Super job! Like the rain marks on the sides of the turret and hull. The color and weathering are just right. But my favorite area on your vehicle are the weathered tracks.

Looking forward to seeing your second 72nd build.

Hi Gary,

A nicely built and balanced model. Well done, like others said it looks like another scale.

Nice model. I especially like the weathering of the exhausts.

Regards.

Wow, I'm with Jeff, I wouldn't have guessed 72nd scale. This scale has sure come a long, long ways from the old days. I do like the subtle weathering too, I think it does add to the larger than life illusion.

Jonathan and Pedro,

Thanks for the kind words. Yeah Jonathan, I didnt want to go too far with the weathering, being 1/72nd it would start to look over done, IMO.

Wow! Missed this one! Very nice Tiger Gary! Really love the weathering, tracks, and exhaust! What techniques did you use to get those effects?
